It has been quite a day. Isabella had a hard time sleeping last night which meant I did too. Had a great visit with the Schencks to come home and find I had two more donations! Hooray! I will be putting in 5 streaks tomorrow and will post photos at that time.
My friend, Kristen, was able to reunite her family, bringing home her baby girl after over a month in hospital after her birth. Welcome home Abigayle! You were named after an amazing woman, Gayle Hanft, who fought breast cancer all the way to the end. We loved her, admired her, and were very grateful to have had her in our lives. It was amazing to see Abigayle at home with her family, everyone looking a bit exhausted yet full of love!
After enjoying the photos and relaxing, I got a call from John who had a fender bender on the Belt Way with a guy during the evening rush hour. The passenger door had seen better days, but John and the guy were fine. Lucky for that. I guess in a way, the day ended the way it should. My girls are safe in bed(and I think they are asleep!), my husband is enjoying his walk with our newly groomed dog, and I am getting some quiet time, deciding where my pink streaks should go and thankful to have so many friends actually believing I can finish a three day walk.
